PAMI KP Chapter
The Pakistan Association of Medical & Dental Institutions (PAMI) – Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chapter (PAMI KP) – serves as the representative body of all private sector medical and dental colleges across the province. Established with the aim of promoting excellence in medical education, healthcare delivery, and institutional collaboration, PAMI KP works as a collective voice to address academic, administrative, and policy matters that impact private medical and dental education in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Represent and protect the rights of private sector colleges at provincial and national forums.
Strengthen Collaboration
Foster coordination between member institutions, KMU, PMDC, and government bodies for aligned academic and regulatory goals.
Structure and Leadership
PAMI KP operates through a structured leadership framework that includes a President, Vice President, General Secretary, Joint Secretary, and Treasurer, elected from among member institutions. The leadership ensures transparent communication, effective decision-making, and representation of member colleges at the provincial and national levels.
Relationship with KMU and PMDC
PAMI KP maintains a strong working relationship with the Khyber Medical University (KMU) and the Pakistan Medical & Dental Council (PMDC). Through continuous coordination and dialogue, the chapter ensures that all affiliated institutions adhere to academic, ethical, and regulatory standards. PAMI KP also actively contributes to policy discussions and implementation related to medical education reforms and student admissions.
Role in Ensuring Transparent Admissions
One of PAMI KP’s primary roles is to ensure fair, transparent, and merit-based admissions across all private medical and dental colleges in the province. In collaboration with KMU and PMDC, PAMI KP oversees the admission process to guarantee compliance with prescribed criteria and eliminate malpractice. This ensures that only deserving and capable students are admitted, upholding the integrity and quality of medical education in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
